The Mission

Building Bermuda’s first Virtual Power Plant

We are bringing Bermuda’s homeowners together to build our island’s first Virtual Power Plant. While we are starting with home batteries, this independent pilot is paving the way for an island-wide energy network — expanding to include solar, electric vehicle charging, smart water heaters, and commercial air conditioning systems.

Our ultimate goal is to prove this model works so we can establish fair, permanent rules with the Regulatory Authority (RA) that financially reward you for your clean energy investments, lowering electricity costs for everyone in Bermuda.

Phase 1

Connectivity testing

A new MESH platform is coming soon. Right now we are enrolling Tesla Powerwall and Enphase IQ Battery homes so Phase 1 remote tests can begin. No extra hardware. You stay in control of your system.

    Looking for early adopters to allow brief testing of remote system controls.

  • 30 minute testing

    Tests are minimal, lasting only half an hour with minimal power usage.

  • You maintain control

    You receive advance notice for tests and can opt out any time.

Add your Tesla or Enphase system

Create a MESH account so we can reach you about Phase 1 tests, then authorize the Tesla or Enphase login that already owns your home battery. MESH only requests the energy scopes needed for connectivity tests.

By connecting a system you agree to the pilot terms. You can revoke access later from the MESH portal, Tesla, or Enlighten.
